A Waalaxy alternative for UK founders and small teams
Waalaxy is one of the best known LinkedIn prospecting tools in Europe and its headline price is low. Here is what it really costs in pounds on monthly and yearly billing, what changed in 2026, and when a different kind of tool makes more sense.
Why people look for a Waalaxy alternative
Waalaxy is popular for good reasons: a low entry price, a friendly app and ready-made sequences. If it is working for you, keep it. The reasons people give for looking elsewhere tend to fall into four groups, and you can compare the numbers below with LinkPounce pricing in pounds.
1. The low price is the yearly price
Waalaxy's pricing page opens on yearly billing, paid up front. On monthly billing the same plans cost about twice as much: Pro is £17 a month billed yearly but £34 a month billed monthly (Waalaxy pricing, checked 2 November 2026). That is fair if you know you will use it for a year. If you want to try it for a month or two, budget for the monthly price.
2. Templates rather than reasons
Waalaxy is built around sequences: you import a list, pick a template and it sends invitations and follow-ups. Personalisation comes from the variables you put in the template. That works at volume, but it does not decide whether a person is worth contacting in the first place.
3. The inbox is an add-on, per user
Waalaxy's LinkedIn Inbox, where you manage replies, is a paid add-on on every plan. Its FAQ gives the price as €20 a month (about £17), and the pricing page offers 500 free conversations with no time limit first. Prices are per user, so each extra person needs their own seat and, once past the free allowance, their own Inbox.
4. Limits that suit volume
The Pro plan allows 300 invitations a month and the Advanced and Business plans 800. LinkedIn does not publish its own limit, and many users report a ceiling of about 100 invitations a week (see our connection request limit guide). Higher plan quotas are not the same as what your LinkedIn account can comfortably send.
What changed at Waalaxy in 2026
Older comparisons often describe Waalaxy as a Chrome extension. That is out of date. Waalaxy's help centre says that since 1 July 2026 it is "100% cloud": it runs in the web app at app.waalaxy.com, and its Chrome extension has been removed from the Chrome Web Store. An optional browser add-on called Alien Copilot speeds up importing people from LinkedIn searches, but you do not need it to run campaigns (Waalaxy help centre, 1 July 2026).
Waalaxy's pricing page also no longer shows a free plan. It offers a 14-day trial on its paid plans instead. If you are reading an older review that mentions a free tier, check the current page before you rely on it.
Waalaxy pricing in 2026, and in pounds
These are the prices Waalaxy's own pricing page showed a UK visitor in pounds, checked 2 November 2026. Visitors elsewhere see euros or dollars, and the figures differ by currency. All prices are per user, per month. Waalaxy's page does not say whether VAT is added for UK buyers.
| Waalaxy plan | Billed monthly | Billed quarterly | Billed yearly, paid up front | Invitations a month | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | £34 | £27 | £17 | 300 | Unlimited campaigns, pre-built sequences, CRM sync |
| Advanced | £69 | £56 | £35 | 800 | Adds API access and Make, Zapier and n8n modules |
| Business | £104 | £86 | £52 | 800 | Adds cold email sequences and LinkedIn plus email campaigns, with 500 email finder credits a month |
| Enterprise | Not published | Not published | Not published | Not stated | For teams of 5 or more seats |
The LinkedIn Inbox is a separate add-on on every plan. The pricing page offers 500 free conversations with no time limit, and its FAQ gives the price after that as €20 a month. At the European Central Bank reference rate for 30 October 2026 (1 euro = £0.8338) that is about £17; your card provider's rate will differ. There is a 14-day trial on all paid plans, and you can cancel by switching off auto-renewal, keeping access to the end of the period you have paid for.
What that means in practice
- One person, Pro, monthly, with Inbox: £34 plus about £17, so about £51 a month.
- One person, Business, monthly, with Inbox: £104 plus about £17, so about £121 a month.
- One person, Pro, billed yearly: £17 a month, which is £204 paid up front, before any Inbox add-on.
So on a yearly plan Waalaxy is cheaper than LinkPounce, and on monthly billing with the Inbox the entry prices are close. The bigger difference is in what each tool does before it sends anything, which is covered next.
Waalaxy and LinkPounce side by side
Waalaxy figures come from its pricing page and help centre, checked 2 November 2026. LinkPounce figures come from our pricing page.
| Waalaxy | LinkPounce | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | £34 per user a month billed monthly, or £17 billed yearly (Pro) | £49 a month plus VAT (Solo), Inbox included |
| Billing | Monthly, quarterly or yearly up front; per user | Monthly, never moved to annual without asking |
| Free trial | 14 days on paid plans | 14 days, no card, a reminder 3 days before any charge |
| Who decides who to message | You import a list and choose a sequence | A reason check reads each profile and recent posts, scores the reason 1 to 10, and skips people without one |
| How messages are written | Templates with variables | Drafted in your voice, learned from your own LinkedIn posts and comments |
| Approval before sending | Not listed on its pricing page | Review queue by default; Assisted and Full modes when you are ready |
| Replies | LinkedIn Inbox add-on: 500 free conversations, then €20 a month | Included: any reply stops all follow-ups to that person, and a "no" is never contacted again |
| Invitation pace | Up to 300 (Pro) or 800 (Advanced, Business) a month | Never more than 25 a day or 100 a week per account, with warm-up |
| Cold email and API | Yes, on Business (email) and Advanced (API, Zapier, Make, n8n) | Not part of the pilot plans |
| Where it runs | Cloud web app since 1 July 2026 | Cloud web app at app.linkpounce.com |
LinkPounce as a Waalaxy alternative
LinkPounce is a UK LinkedIn outreach app for founders, consultants, small B2B teams and agencies. It is in a pilot, so we describe what each plan includes rather than results, because we do not have customer results to share yet.
A reason before every message
For each person, LinkPounce reads their LinkedIn profile and recent posts and scores the reason to get in touch from 1 to 10. Without a good reason, nobody is contacted. Your limited weekly invitations go to the people most likely to want to hear from you.
Your voice, and your say
It learns how you write from your own posts and comments. You can add words to avoid, and it never uses em dashes or fake flattery. Drafts wait in the Review queue for you to approve, edit or ask for another version.
The inbox is part of every plan
Every plan includes the Inbox with reply drafts. Any reply stops all follow-ups to that person across every campaign, and objections, pricing questions and every "no" come to you. A "no" gets one polite close and the person is never contacted again.
Built to keep the risk low
Each account has a sending pace, from Very careful (8 invites a day, 40 a week, with a 6 week warm-up) to Faster (25 a day, 100 a week). LinkPounce never goes above that, leaves random gaps, works weekdays in office hours, never invites anyone twice and pauses itself on a LinkedIn warning. It works with a free LinkedIn account.
The plans
- Solo, £49 a month: one LinkedIn account, reason check, voice and style, Review queue, Inbox with reply drafts and Audit My LinkedIn.
- Pro, £99 a month: adds Assisted mode, full autopilot, a booked-meeting goal, warm leads from people who comment on or react to posts, and auto-testing towards positive replies.
- Agency, £299 a month: adds 5 LinkedIn accounts (then £45 each) and a project per client with its own voice, brand kit and reports.
All prices are plus VAT. These are founding prices for the pilot, and founding members keep theirs for life.
Who should stay on Waalaxy
LinkPounce is not the right answer for everyone. Waalaxy is likely the better fit if:
- Price is the deciding factor and you are happy to manage replies on LinkedIn itself rather than pay for the Inbox.
- You want LinkedIn and cold email in one sequence today (Waalaxy Business).
- You need an API or Zapier, Make or n8n modules to move leads into other tools (Waalaxy Advanced).
- You already have lists and templates that get replies and you want a simple sending tool, not one that decides who to contact.
If you would rather send fewer, better messages and see every draft before it goes, LinkPounce was built for that. If you are also weighing up tools for several accounts, see our HeyReach alternative page.
Before you switch from Waalaxy
Whichever tool you use, be clear about the rules. LinkedIn's User Agreement does not allow third-party software that automates activity on its site, and LinkedIn says members using such tools risk having their accounts restricted or shut down (LinkedIn Help). No tool, ours included, can make automation risk-free. Here is how LinkPounce approaches LinkedIn automation safety, and our guide to whether LinkedIn automation is safe.
- Export what you need first: your prospect lists, your do-not-contact list and any conversations you want to keep.
- Stop your Waalaxy campaigns before you start a new tool. Two tools sending from one LinkedIn account can push you over the limits LinkedIn enforces.
- Warm up again at a careful pace for the first few weeks.
- Withdraw old pending invitations you no longer expect to be accepted.
- Check your renewal date. Waalaxy says cancelling keeps access to the end of the paid period, so time the switch to it.
Questions people ask
How much does Waalaxy cost in pounds?
On 2 November 2026 Waalaxy showed UK visitors Pro at £34, Advanced at £69 and Business at £104 per user a month on monthly billing, or £17, £35 and £52 a month billed yearly up front. The LinkedIn Inbox add-on is €20 a month, about £17.
Is the Waalaxy Inbox included in the plans?
No. Waalaxy lists the LinkedIn Inbox as an add-on on every plan, with 500 free conversations and then €20 a month. Every LinkPounce plan includes the Inbox with reply drafts.
Does Waalaxy still need a Chrome extension?
No. Waalaxy says it has run fully in the cloud from its web app since 1 July 2026 and its Chrome extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store. An optional add-on, Alien Copilot, speeds up imports from LinkedIn.
Does Waalaxy still have a free plan?
Its pricing page no longer shows one, checked 2 November 2026. It offers a 14-day trial on paid plans. LinkPounce also offers 14 days free with no card.
Is LinkPounce safer than Waalaxy?
We do not claim any tool is safe. LinkedIn's User Agreement does not allow third-party automation. LinkPounce is built to keep the risk low with warm-up, a hard cap of 25 invites a day and 100 a week, office hours, approval before sending and an automatic pause on any LinkedIn warning.
Can I try LinkPounce before cancelling Waalaxy?
Yes. Join the pilot for 14 days free with no card. Pause your Waalaxy campaigns on that LinkedIn account first, because two tools sending from one account can push you over LinkedIn's limits.
